MSTP Equipment Fiberhome Citrans 550F For Metropolitan Area Network With Cross Connect Capability

Citrans 550F is MSTP equipment developed by FiberHome. It has cross-connect capability with large capacity, abundant service types, powerful networking capability and perfect protection mechanism. It is mainly applied in MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) for meeting the requirement of bandwidth with large capacity.

Citrans 550F has cross-connect capability with large capacity. Its higher order cross-connect capacity is 128×128VC-4 and lower order cross-connect capacity is 4032×4032VC-12. It provides VC-4-4c and VC-4-16c concatenations, higher order cross-connect of VC-4 and lower order cross-connect of VC-3 & VC-12.

Citrans 550F possesses abundant service types. It provides optical interfaces (STM-16, STM-4 and STM-1), electrical interfaces (STM-1, E4, E3/T3 and E1) and Ethernet interfaces (GE and FE). And it can access various SDH services and perform multi-service transmission on the unitive MSTP platform.

Citrans 550F provides powerful networking capability to meet the requirement of various network applications. It supports various network topologies, including chain, ring, tangent ring, intersection ring, ring with chain, dual node interconnection (DNI) and hinge networking.

Citrans 550F adopts the design with high reliability to possess perfect protection mechanism. It supports hot standby of external power source, electrical tributary cards (E1, E3/T3-3, E4 and E155 cards) and XCU card to perform equipment level protection. It also supports 1+1/1:1 linear MS protection, 2F MS SPRING, 4F MS SPRING, UPSR and SNCP to perform network level protection.

Citrans 550F has unique function of Ethernet signal transparent transmission; that is, Ethernet signal can be directly transmitted by DCCM channel through DCC TRANS port of EMU card.

Citrans 550F adopts assembling structure. Its cabinet is made up of aluminum alloy and wears primary colors of light gray or black.

Ground bearing: >600Kg/m2.

No corrosive and solvent gas, and no dust in the atmosphere; no strong electromagnetic field nearby.

Power supply: can provide steady voltage, and enough storage battery.

Earth resistance: <5 ohm.

Temperature and humidity:

• Working temperature: 0 ~50 degrees centigrade.
• Storage temperature: -40 ~ +70 degrees centigrade.
• Relative humidity: <=95% (40 degrees centigrade).

• The equipment is covered with plastic film, and its top, middle and bottom parts are wrapped in plastic foam to prevent shaking. A wooden case is used for its outside package.
• Can be transmitted by long-distance truck, train, ship and plane.
• Transmission temperature is -25 ~ +60 degrees centigrade.
• Collision, tumble, drench and insolation are forbidden.
