    Overview

    The card can provide one or two STM-4 optical interfaces.


    The main functions of this card are as follows:


    • Achieve E/O conversion of two STM-4 optical interfaces. In receiving direction, it switches received optical signal to 622Mbit/s electrical signal and in transmitting direction, it switches received 622Mbit/s electrical signal to optical signal and transmits them;
    • Accomplish the function of clock recovery, overhead processing and clock synthesis;
    • Accomplish the function of SOH overhead processing, SOH overhead access, bi-directional pointer processing and bus conversion;
    • Transmit ECC in point-to-point mode and can select ECCR or ECCM to transmit;
    • Support remote download function of FPGA and BCT program.
